Join NYCCFA

Any currently enrolled college student at an NYC-area university who is interested in finance can apply. We welcome students from all majors and years - you don't need to be a finance major to join. Our members include students studying economics, accounting, mathematics, computer science, and more.

No! Membership is completely free. We believe access to professional development and career resources shouldn't have a price tag. All our events, resources, and networking opportunities are available to members at no cost.

We're actively expanding to new NYC campuses! If your university isn't listed, you can still apply as a member. We also welcome students interested in becoming campus representatives to help establish NYCCFA at their school. Reach out to us at nyccfacommunications@gmail.com for more information.

Our public opportunities page shows select listings. Members get access to our full internship board with exclusive postings, early deadlines, and application tips. Once accepted, you'll receive access to our member platform where all opportunities are shared weekly.

NYCCFA is designed to complement your academic schedule, not compete with it. We host 2-3 events per month, and attendance is flexible. You engage as much or as little as fits your schedule. There are no mandatory meetings or minimum attendance requirements for general members.

Absolutely! In fact, joining early is one of the best things you can do. Many of our most active members joined as freshmen. Our workshops are designed for all experience levels, and our community is incredibly welcoming. Starting early gives you more time to build your network and develop skills before recruiting season.

We welcome partnerships with financial firms, recruiters, and organizations that want to connect with diverse, motivated finance students.
